Job Overview:
Job Summary**
The Supervisor QHSE will be responsible for overseeing and implementing comprehensive Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and initiatives across Primoris Services Corporation projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, company policies, and best practices.
Job Responsibilities**
* Develop, implement, and maintain QHSE management systems, procedures, and policies in alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
* Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential hazards, non-compliance issues, and areas for improvement in QHSE performance.
* Lead and participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis, and the development of corrective and preventative actions.
* Provide guidance and support to project teams on QHSE matters, including risk assessments, job hazard analyses, and safe work procedures.
* Develop and deliver QHSE training programs for employees and contractors to foster a strong safety culture and ensure understanding of policies.
* Monitor and report on QHSE performance metrics, trends, and compliance status to management.
* Liaise with regulatory bodies, clients, and other stakeholders on QHSE-related issues.
* Manage and maintain all necessary QHSE documentation and records.
* Promote continuous improvement initiatives in QHSE practices and performance.
* Ensure the proper selection, use, and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Job Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CSP, CHST, OHST, ISO Lead Auditor) are highly preferred.
* Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in QHSE roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership capacity, preferably within the construction, utilities, or heavy industrial sectors.
* In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant federal, state, and local QHSE regulations and standards.
* Proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing QHSE programs and systems.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct thorough incident investigations and root cause analyses.
* Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
* Ability to effectively train and influence employees at all levels of the organization.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
* Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
* Strong commitment to safety and environmental stewardship.
