We’re currently partnering with a leading building materials supplier in Plant City, FL that is hiring Class A CDL Drivers to support their growing operations. This company supports residential homebuilders, contractors, and remodeling professionals with a full range of construction products and services.
The Class A CDL Driver will operate manual transmission trucks with 48-foot trailers that extend up to 60 feet, equipped with specialized roller systems for transporting building materials. This role requires a high level of responsibility, strong time management, and a commitment to safety and customer service while handling heavy loads at various job sites.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Operate manual transmission trucks ranging from 48 ft to 60 ft, including specialized trailers equipped with roller systems, to transport and deliver heavy building materials
  • Safely load, secure, and transport heavy loads to ensure product integrity during transit
  • Navigate to residential and commercial job sites, maneuvering trucks into tight or active construction areas for safe unloading
  • Unload materials at delivery sites, assisting customers while taking precautions to protect both the product and surrounding property
  • Verify delivery details by matching materials and quantities to invoices, ensuring complete order accuracy
  • Accurately document deliveries including materials, quantities, mileage, and delivery locations utilizing mobile devices
  • Maintain compliance with DOT regulations by completing hours of service logs, DVIR reporting, and pre-trip/post-trip inspections
  • Use handheld devices (when not driving) to track deliveries and ensure proper documentation and compliance
  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness and overall condition of assigned equipment
  • Serve as the primary point of contact at delivery sites, providing professional customer service and resolving issues as needed
  • Perform return pickups, including handling required documentation for credits or returned materials
  • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment to load and offload materials as needed
  • Work independently to manage routes, delivery schedules, and time-sensitive orders
  • Follow all company safety procedures and actively participate in safety meetings and initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Who We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
  • Valid DOT medical card required
  • 2+ years of CDL driving experience required
  • Experience operating manual transmission trucks with heavy loads required
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, stop, and lift throughout the shift
  • Experience operating Moffetts is a plus, but training will be provided
  • Basic tech skills (mobile apps for logging and documentation)

What You Can Expect

  • $24.00/hour starting pay + performance bonuses
  • Schedule of Monday – Friday, 6:30am start until completion
  • Average 60 hours per week with consistent overtime
