Job description

NDI Engineering Company is seeking a software test engineer to support the Software Test Branch of the Prototype, Manufacturing and Test Department at Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst to join our team in Lakehurst, New Jersey.
Role and Responsibilities:
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute test programs as a Software Test Engineer
  • Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on Test Division ALRE systems.
  • Develop, review, maintain test plans, procedures, test data, test briefs, and test reports
  • Analyze test results, identify discrepancies or malfunctions, and work with relevant teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Participate in program and systems engineering technical reviews for ADMACS.
  • Provide recommendations for improvements or modifications based on testing results and operational feedback.

Qualifications:
  • Engineering or Science degree, preferably a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • 3-5 years experience in the software test engineering field with 3+ year experience with ALRE or similar systems.
  • Experience with test and evaluation processes
  • Experience with agile software test and evaluation processes including Scaled Agile Framework a plus
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly document technical findings and communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance
  • Ability to support travel to work aboard US Carriers

Minimum Requirements
This work is NOT remote. Working in the Lakehurst, NJ is required.
Good verbal and written communications skills along with ability to implement feedback from engineers, follow work instructions and work somewhat independently are highly desirable traits.
