Your Missionย ย

Developmentย ย ย

  • Support development of Java microservices/Libraries while integrating with Jira, Jira Service Management, Slack, Microsoft Teams, SaaS providers, and AI solutions such as Claude Code, ChatGPT/Codex, and Cursor forย OneTrust'sย AI Governance product.
  • It will involve the designing, development, and unit testing of applications deployed to MS Azure with cloud application architecture using Core Java, REST, and the Spring ecosystem.
  • Contribute to the design of reusable integration patterns, API contracts, authentication, error handling, and data translation across external systems.
  • Help evolve the AI Governance registry and integration capabilities, including entity resolution, workflow integrations, evidence generation, and administrator-facing AI experiences.
  • Achieve at least 80% code coverage or per the revised standards set by the team.ย

Collaborationย ย ย ย

  • Work closely with UX, Product Managers and/or Product Owners, as well as other developers to contribute to planning and grooming sessions and driveย team'sย discussions on system architecture andย componentย design.
  • Collaborate with platform, security, legal, and customer-facing teams to deliver reliable and secure SaaS and AI-solution integrations.
  • Support the team to ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed per the sprint goal.ย

Supportย ย ย ย

  • Work toward reducingย totalย number of defects in the module/product to industry standards by catching and fixing issues early in development.
  • Ensure critical and high priority CII's are delivered per SLA.
  • Help ensure integrations remain reliable as external APIs, SaaS products, and AI solutions evolve.ย

Code Reviewย ย

  • Conduct peer reviews to improve code quality.ย
  • Help junior developers follow development testing, exploratory testing, AI testing and/or test automation.ย ย

Leadย ย

  • Help build high-performing teams by mentoring the teamย onย new technical skills.ย ย
You Areย ย
  • A hands-on experienced engineer who enjoys solving ambiguousย platformย and integration problems.
  • A systems thinker who can connect product outcomes, domain models, APIs, external systems, and operational behavior.
  • A pragmatic architect who knows when to build, when to reuse, and how to avoid long-term integration debt.
  • A clear communicator who asks questions to clarify gaps in understanding and makes decisions visible.
  • Comfortable working across product, engineering, security, legal, and customer-facing stakeholders.
  • Motivated by building trustworthy governance capabilities for rapidly evolving AI systems.ย
Your Experience Includesย ย ย
  • Bachelor's or master'sย degree in computer science, engineering, orย a relatedย technical or business field.
  • 8+ years of professional software engineering and software development experience.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with object-oriented design, Java, design patterns, Spring, SQL, web services, and REST APIs.
  • Strong experience designing, building, and operating integrations with external platforms, SaaS applications, workflow systems, and AI solutions such as Jira, Jira Service Management, Slack, Microsoft Teams.
  • Experience integrating with AI tooling and agent platforms (for example Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or MCP-based systems) orย comparableย rapidly-evolvingย third-party APIs.
  • Hands-on experience with identity and access management for integrations, including SSO using SAML or OIDC, OAuth, service accounts, API keys, token scopes, roles and claims, role-based access control, and secure credential management.
  • Experience working with webhooks, pagination, rate limiting, retries, idempotency, schema versioning, authentication expiration, external API changes, and customer-specific configuration.

  • Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, production monitoring, incident response, Agile development practices, and scripting with Python.
  • Ability to learn and use a wide variety of open-source technologies and enterprise SaaS platforms.
  • Comfort operatingย ahead of certaintyย - running discovery work (customer conversations, competitive and regulatory research, feasibility spikes) to resolve open questions before committing engineering.
  • Experience owning a multi-quarter technical roadmapย across teams, including build-versus-reuse decisions on shared platform infrastructure where the wrong call creates long-lived duplication.ย

Extra Awesomeย ย

  • Experience with connector frameworks, integration-platform-as-a-service products, workflow engines, or developer platforms, including reusable connector contracts and clear Sensor, Workflow, and Evidence patterns.
  • Experience normalizing heterogeneous external data into a common domain model, including entity resolution, matching, deduplication, or identity/entity graphs.
