What You'll Do
  • Compose, build, and maintain end-to-end features across frontend and backend systems, taking ownership from development through to production.
  • Develop responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces using React, with a focus on intuitive build and seamless user experience.
  • Ensure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness across different devices and screen sizes, including mobile.
  • Develop and sustain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Python.
  • Integrate with internal and external APIs and data sources to deliver connected, data-driven features.
  • Manage and query databases as part of feature development and ongoing maintenance.
  • Write clean, well-tested, production-grade code that meets performance and reliability standards.
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability issues across the stack.
  • Participate in code reviews, providing and incorporating constructive technical feedback.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into working software.
  • Contribute to technical design discussions and help build approaches for new features and system improvements.

What We're Looking For
  • 4+ years of professional experience in full stack software development.
  • Strong proficiency in React and solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong experience in backend development using Node.js and Python.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working with third-party data sources.
  • Familiarity with building database structures and querying across relational or NoSQL environments.
  • Experience with cross-platform and mobile optimisation techniques.
  • Strong understanding of software development guidelines including testing, version control, and code review.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently, with strong communication skills in a collaborative team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a dedication to code quality, performance, and reliability.
  • Clear communicator who can discuss technical decisions with both engineers and non-technical collaborators.
  • Experience managing work in Jira or similar agile tooling.
  • Experience with graph databases such as Neo4j is a plus but not required.

Pay Range
$98,000 - $182,000 per year
Our goal is to pay a market competitive salary focusing near the median of our pay ranges. However, final offers for all positions will be based on several factors such as experience level, education, skills, work location, and internal pay equity.
