Responsibilities
SummitRidge Hospital - A Place for Healing and Hope
SummitRidge Hospital is an acute care psychiatric hospital located in Lawrenceville, approximately 25 miles northeast of downtown Atlanta. We provide psychiatric and substance use disorder treatment to adolescents, adults, and seniors, along with partial hospitalization and other outpatient programs, including a location in Athens.
Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our talented Outpatient Services team and support daily operations primarily working from our Athens location. The Program Manager will take a lead role in cases requiring advanced assessment and intervention strategies, provide leadership to clinical and support staff, and coordinate service delivery to ensure client needs, program goals, and objectives are effectively met.
Key responsibilities include:
    • Provide oversight and coordination of a small clinical team, including direct supervision of one other therapist.
    • Lead and facilitate adolescent and adult group therapy sessions.
    • Participate in campus communication by calling in to Flash twice per week to provide program and operational updates.
    • Support day-to-day program needs while taking on an entry-level leadership role.
    • Demonstrate initiative, professionalism, and a commitment to growing within the organization.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Social Work/Psychology/Counseling
  • Current professional licensure
  • Five years of post-Master's degree experience
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong clinical skills to address crisis situations, family, group, and individual therapy
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Responsible, reliable, self-starter with strong work ethic and high energy
