Summary:
The Consumer Banking Performance Manager is a key leader responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive sales performance, growth, and customer satisfaction across the retail banking network and identify performance gaps. This role partners closely with the Retail Area Directors to shape the strategic direction of the business, identify performance opportunities, and build actionable plans that enable field execution. With a strong focus on sales performance, customer growth, and team productivity, the Consumer Banking Performance Manager plays a critical role in elevating the impact of the retail banking organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and customer experience strategies that align with business goals and evolving market conditions.
  • Drive retail banking performance by identifying opportunities for revenue growth, client acquisition, and relationship deepening.
  • Partner with Area Directors to support execution of sales plans and performance coaching strategies.
  • Analyze sales performance metrics, client behavior, and market trends to develop data-driven insights and actionable strategies.
  • Lead the development of performance dashboards, KPIs, and tracking mechanisms to monitor field performance and inform decision-making.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, product, and training teams to ensure sales efforts are supported and aligned with strategic initiatives.
  • Support market expansion, sales force effectiveness, customer segmentation, and channel optimization projects.
  • Deliver strategic presentations and performance updates to senior leadership, offering clear insights and recommendations.

Education and/or Experience
  • 7+ years of experience in strategy, sales leadership, Financial Center Management, business planning, or performance management, ideally in banking or financial services.

Skills and Abilities
  • Strong analytical capabilities and comfort working with sales performance data, KPIs, and forecasting tools.
  • Proven ability to turn insights into executable strategies.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and drive measurable results.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with experience influencing at all levels of the organization.
  • 20-25% travel required.
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of banking products, sales processes, and retail distribution is highly preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate the highest level of ethical behavior and confidentiality and maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
  • Respectful demeanor toward other associates and managers that promotes a positive and professional work environment.
