Clinical Coordinator R.N in cooperation with the Clinical Nursing Manager, the Clinical Coordinator, is responsible for coordination of all care and services requiring substantial specialized judgment and skill on the nursing unit/neighborhood.  This judgment and skill is based on knowledge of the natural, behavioral and nursing sciences and humanities as the basis for application of the nursing process in wellness and illness care. The Clinical Coordinator assumes responsibility of total resident/patient care on a designated unit for each shift worked by performing professional nursing duties, assuring the completion of nurse aide and ancillary staff duties, including documentation. 

Qualifications

Qualifications for the Clinical Coordinator R.N. include:

  • Graduated from an accredited school of Nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. 
  • Must possess a current Registered Nurse license, in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  • Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, concepts and techniques, which are central to the professional discipline in Nursing. 
  • Analytical skills necessary to assess complex patient conditions effectively and to develop comprehensive plans of care. 
  • Current registered license, in good standing, from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
