  • Drivers must have their CDL license (preferred) or,
  • Must be willing to obtain CDL, P&S endorsements
  • Must be able to sucessfully complete a medical examination
  • Must be able to drive at least two school routes for morning and/or afternoon
  • Must be willing to drive for elementary, middle, and high school
  • Must be able to maintain order and discipline of students assigned to the bus in accordance with PCS Board Policies and PCS Code of Conduct
  • Must be able to operate and maneuver a school bus with safely and with proficiency
  • Must be able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels (administrators, parents, students, and school community)
  • Must be able to meet and maintain legal and physical requirements for NC School Bus Certification and local rules
