Seasonal Janitorial Supervisor - Citi Field

We are looking for a qualified Seasonal Janitorial Supervisor to join our team. As a Seasonal Janitorial Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of various facilities in the city. You will also oversee managing a team of janitors and ensuring they perform their duties efficiently and safely. Maintenance services include in-game and post-game cleaning of the entire stadium including stands, seats, locker rooms, public areas, and restroom maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and assigning daily tasks to the janitorial staff
  • Inspecting the quality of the cleaning and maintenance work
  • Providing training and feedback to the janitorial staff
  • Ordering and maintaining the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
  • Handling customer complaints and requests
  • Preparing reports and records on the janitorial activities and performance
  • Coordinating with other supervisors and managers on the facility operations
  • Evaluating the janitorial staff performance and conducting performance reviews
  • Reviewing and approving staff schedules, timekeeping, attendance, and payroll and disciplining the janitorial staff as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 plus years’ experience in the custodial/maintenance/housekeeping field in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior supervisor experience in the janitorial or cleaning industry
  • Experience in supervising a team of more than 10 people
  • Knowledge of cleaning methods, products, and equipment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to handle physical demands of the job, such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
  • Must be flexible to work any shift, days, afternoons, or nights.

Hourly Rate: $26.00-$28.00
