Position Overview:

As a Stadium Club Server, you'll be at the heart of the action, providing top-notch hospitality and creating a fun and vibrant atmosphere for our guests. Your role is to ensure that each visitor to Stadium Club has an unforgettable experience, enjoying delicious food, refreshing drinks, and exceptional service. With your outgoing personality and passion for customer satisfaction, you'll play a vital role in making game days and events memorable for every guest.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a server or in a hospitality role is preferred.
  • Enthusiastic individuals with a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
  • Good knowledge of food and beverage items, as well as the ability to learn and memorize the menu.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • A food handling certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment.
  • TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) certification must be completed within the first 90 days of employment.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

  • Guest Greetings: Welcome guests with a big smile and a warm greeting as they enter the Stadium Club. Make them feel excited and appreciated from the moment they arrive.
  • Order Taking: Skillfully guide guests through the menu, suggest popular items, and take accurate food and beverage orders promptly and efficiently.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Deliver orders to guests with enthusiasm. Ensure that all items are presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature.
  • Upselling: Proactively offer specials, promotions, and add-ons to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Knowledgeable Recommendations: Provide informed recommendations on food and beverage pairings, taking into account individual preferences and dietary restrictions.
  • Special Requests: Handle special requests or accommodations with a positive attitude, ensuring that each guest's needs are met to the best of your ability.
  • Table Maintenance: Keep tables clean, organized, and appropriately set up for each party. Clear used plates and glassware promptly to maintain a comfortable and inviting space.
  • Payment Processing: Accurately process bills, handle cash and credit card transactions, and provide guests with an efficient and seamless check-out experience.
  • Entertainment and Engagement: Interact with guests, engaging them in conversations, making recommendations, and building rapport to foster a lively and amusing atmosphere.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, working with the management team to find suitable solutions.
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth and timely service.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Adhere to food safety and hygiene guidelines to maintain a clean and safe environment for both guests and fellow team members.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus. 
  • Ability to perform proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment/machinery. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be physically fit in order to lift, pull and push items up to 50 pounds.
  • Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift.
