Job description

Parallel Employment Group in partnership with a growing food production company in Elma are looking for associates to assist in a stacker and assembly role. In this role you will be responsible for boxing product that come off the end of the production line and putting onto pallets.
Pay Rate: $17.00 an hour
Shifts: 1st, 2nd and 3rd weekends as well
Work Specifications - Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for food safety and quality
  • Know pallet stacking patterns on all products
  • Check for defects on case - missing codes, missing straws, trays glued, shrink wrap sealed properly, correct cardboard
  • Follow proper lifting techniques
  • Print out pallet tags correctly
  • Ensure that all cases are stacked on individual pallets according to specified filler and spec sheets (no mixing of cases on pallets)

Requirements
Education/Prerequisite Requirements:
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent
  • Basic understanding and execution of food plant GMPs
  • Quality mindset
  • Ability to work in a team oriented environment
  • Capable of lifting and stacking 30-40 lbs throughout shift/Proper lifting techniques
  • Package/case defects
  • Must have reliable transportation to ensure on-time attendance for all scheduled shifts
