Bring your enthusiasm, your big ideas, and your desire to team up with some of the best and brightest in technology and entertainment.
AXS is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer II - Full Stack to contribute to the design and development of core ticketing platforms. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in a complex enterprise environment and is comfortable working across modern web technologies, services, APIs, and integrations in support of high-demand, global use cases. In this role, you will build and scale consumer-facing and B2B web applications, with ownership across front-end experiences, back-end services, and data integrations. You will partner closely with product, design, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-quality web experiences while helping shape technical decisions and improve the platform over time. As a senior individual contributor, you will contribute hands-on to implementation while also influencing architecture, guiding technical direction within your team, and helping drive alignment between engineering efforts and business goals. What You'll Be Doing
  • Act as a deep domain expert and go-to engineer in a critical area of the platform.
  • Lead technically complex initiatives from design through delivery, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Design cross-team solutions and influence architecture and technical direction across the organization.
  • Own features and systems end-to-end, including technical design, implementation, testing, and production support.
  • Build and evolve scalable, maintainable, and high-performing web experiences for global ticketing platforms.
  • Partner closely with Product, Design, and engineering stakeholders to deliver intuitive, accessible, and responsive customer-facing applications.
  • Apply full-stack engineering best practices across service design, API contracts, component architecture, performance optimization, accessibility, testing, and maintainability.
  • Build scalable modules for internal applications and external partners.
  • Create and evolve services and APIs that power mission-critical infrastructure.
  • Proactively identify and implement improvements in performance, stability, maintainability, process, and tooling.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality code.
  • Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, business analysts, product managers, and project managers to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Mentor and guide engineers across multiple teams, contributing to technical growth and engineering excellence.
  • Work with third parties and security stakeholders as needed to deliver integrated and secure solutions.
What to Bring
  • 6+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong experience with web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with modern frameworks and interfaces such as ReactJS or NextJS.
  • Proficiency in C# and .NET Core, including its ecosystem.
  • Solid technical foundation in building Single Page Applications and modern full-stack web applications.
  • Experience designing and operating distributed, high-throughput, low-latency services and RESTful APIs at scale.
  • Experience working with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative, stay accountable, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven record of mentoring peers, contributing to technical discussions, and influencing engineering decisions within and across teams.
Nice to Have
  • Experience with AWS and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience building large-scale, high-performance transactional systems and platforms.
  • Experience with open-source technologies such as NodeJS.
  • Experience building and deploying reusable JavaScript modules and Micro Front Ends.
  • Experience building mobile and responsive user interfaces.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and containerization/orchestration such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Git and CI/CD.
  • Experience with event-driven technologies such as Kafka.
  • Experience with TDD and/or BDD.
  • Experience using NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch or AWS DynamoDB.
  • Experience in the ticketing industry, inventory management systems, or e-commerce.
