This role involves designing and developing scalable, secure, high-performance web applications and microservices on Microsoft Azure, while leveraging AI-assisted and agent-based development patterns to accelerate delivery, improve quality, and enable intelligent user experiences. Candidates with data engineering or AI platform exposure will have opportunities to contribute to data-driven initiatives, intelligent automation, and performance optimization.

Core Responsibilities

System Ownership

Design, scale, and maintain cloud-native microservices and robust system architectures on Microsoft Azure.

API Excellence

Architect secure, resilient, high-performance APIs using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Reactive, and WebFlux.

UI Leadership

Direct front-end strategies to deliver responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks.

Tech Debt & Quality

Set engineering standards, champion code reviews, and ensure DevSecOps KPIs are exceeded while actively paying down technical debt.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with product managers, UX designers, and enterprise architects to translate complex business needs into technical reality.

AIDLC Champion

Embed AIDLC practices across the team.

AI Pair Programming

Maximize the use of GitHub Copilot and emerging AI coding agents for engineering excellence, productivity, refactoring, and test coverage.
