Job description

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century's most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril's family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Multinational Digital Infrastructure (MDI) team is responsible for designing, deploying, and sustaining the sovereign and multinational classified systems that power Anduril's global Maritime and AUKUS missions. As a Multinational Digital Infrastructure & Systems Engineer, you will architect and implement the classified environments, networks, gateways, and access pathways that enable U.S., Australian, and UK engineering and operational teams to collaborate at speed across IL5,IL6, and releasable environments. You will work across engineering, security, Mission Ops, and product teams to ensure our digital infrastructure is secure, scalable, and ready to support emerging mission demands.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Full Stack Systems and Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work across complex digital ecosystems, architecting and implementing solutions that integrate seamlessly across Maritime platforms, secure classified environments, and corporate IT systems. We are seeking an experienced and versatile Full Stack Systems and Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy mission-critical systems for Maritime, Multinational Digital Infrastructure solutions. By combining robust systems engineering with innovative software development, this role will help streamline Lattice OS deployments in sovereign, multinational, and operational environments, ensuring scalability and reliability at every layer of the stack.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Software Development & Engineering
  • Build Frontend Applications: Develop intuitive user interfaces for command-and-control (C2) systems, mission dashboards, and system health monitoring tools that deliver meaningful insights to stakeholders.
  • Develop Backend and Middleware Services: Design scalable, secure APIs and microservices that enable seamless data flow across heterogeneous networks, edge devices, and cloud environments.
  • Integrate with Lattice OS: Extend and enhance the Lattice OS platform by building tools and software interfaces to integrate Maritime systems, unmanned vehicles, and classified cloud environments.
Systems Engineering & Integration
  • Bridge Maritime Platforms and IT Infrastructure: Develop integrations between sensors, mission systems, network devices, and multinational defense environments, ensuring operational data flow between undersea platforms, edge systems, and classified networks.
  • Implement Secure Networking Solutions: Build and test mesh networking architectures, fault-tolerant data pipelines, and edge-to-cloud systems used in classified operations across sovereign and multinational domains.
  • Support CorpTech IT Systems: Collaborate with corporate IT and networking teams to ensure operational and administrative systems meet enterprise reliability, scalability, and security requirements.
Global Mission Focus
  • Support Multinational Deployments: Develop and test solutions that support bilateral and multinational operations in environments such as the U.S., Australia, and UK, focusing on AUKUS joint missions.
  • Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with hardware, autonomy, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless end-to-end integration of Anduril's products.
  • Field Support for Exercises & Testing: Participate in multinational exercises and tests to validate software and systems functionality, while troubleshooting integration issues in real time.
Process & Documentation
  • Develop Technical Documentation: Write clear and concise integration guides, API documentation, software deployment procedures, and best practices that ensure repeatability across engineering teams.
  • Contribute to R&D: Leverage lessons learned through real-world use to influence the next generation of Lattice and Maritime systems.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack software engineering or systems integration.
  • Strong proficiency in frontend development (e.g., React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend development (e.g., Python, Go, Node.js, or similar languages).
  • Experience with systems engineering, including networking, security, and edge/cloud system integrations.
  • Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems architecture.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform), ideally focused on secure or classified environments.
  • Working knowledge of network protocols, mesh networking, and/or secure communication paradigms.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% to support field testing, customer engagement, and system deployments.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous work with Lattice OS or similar autonomy and sensor fusion operating systems.
  • Experience working in sovereign cloud environments (e.g., AWS Secret Region, Australian IRAP-compliant builds).
  • Hands-on support for classified military networks, AUKUS collaboration, or multinational mission systems integration.
