Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets. Nightwing is supporting a U.S. Government customer on a large mission critical development and sustainment program to sustain and operate a network operations environment, including introducing new cyber capabilities to address emerging threats. Cyber Offense and Defense Experts (CODEX) is seeking a skilled Full Stack Infrastructure Engineer with expertise and focus on automated patching and security updates in AWS Cloud production and development environments. This role involves contributing to building an automated security finding, analysis and automated remediation pipeline. to support CISA's mission today and into the future. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with Agile Scrum teams as a critical contributor, focusing on the design, testing, and implementation of advanced cybersecurity software solutions.
* Oversee and maintain production systems in an AWS Cloud Environment, ensuring reliable operation and security.
* Perform analysis and automated patching, security updates, and remediation of security findings using Ansible.
* A focus on security finding reporting, analysis and remediation.
* Assist in risk assessments and develop effective mitigation countermeasures as necessary. Required Qualifications: * U.S. Citizenship
* Active Secret clearance (with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance and DHS Suitability).
* 8+ years of directly relevant software development experience required.
* 2+ years of directly relevant experience in Agile full stack infrastructure engineering.
* Proficiency in Python and Pip for software development and automation.
* Working with WIZ or Nessus vulnerability findings, reporting, including analysis and automated remediation.
* Demonstrated experience supporting production environments in the AWS Cloud Environment.
* Automated patching and update pipelines for remediation of security findings
* Hands-on experience with AWS Systems Manager Patch Manager.
* Proficiency with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
* Demonstrated experience analyzing and automatically remediating CVE findings.
* Working knowledge of AWS CLI, Python System Package Updates, Python local Package Updates, Python, venv Updates, Windows updates and Linux Yum updates. Desired Skills: * In-depth knowledge and experience in investigating and automating the remediation of security vulnerabilities.
* Experience with AWS CloudWatch Desired Certifications: * DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II
* CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional) Required Education: * Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline is required.
