Job description

Job Description Full Stack Developer About the role: We are seeking a Full Stack Developer to design, develop, test, deploy, and support software solutions throughout the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable, scalable, and secure applications while contributing to automation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, deploy, and support software products and services throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Take ownership of production support by monitoring applications, troubleshooting issues, and participating in operational governance, risk management, and continuous service improvement. Collaborate with engineers, architects, product managers, and business stakeholders to define technical solutions that align with business objectives and deliver high-quality customer experiences. Identify, prioritize, and address technical debt while balancing the delivery of new features to ensure long-term platform sustainability.

Design and implement solutions with a focus on reliability, performance, resilience, observability, and recoverability. Deliver software changes through safe, incremental, and automated deployment practices, ensuring minimal disruption to production environments. Participate in operational activities, including incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, post-incident reviews, retrospectives, and team ceremonies.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, test plans, and automated unit and integration tests to ensure software quality and maintainability. Collaborate closely with team members through knowledge sharing, code reviews, and pair programming where appropriate. Communicate project progress, technical achievements, and lessons learned with the broader engineering team.

Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement of engineering practices. Stay current with emerging technologies, development tools, cybersecurity best practices, and applicable regulatory or compliance requirements. Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and the ability to quickly learn new technologies, frameworks, and programming languages while working independently or collaboratively.

Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience; 3-6 years preferred. Experience across the full software development lifecycle, including application development, testing, deployment, and production support. Proficiency in at least two programming languages, such as Java and JavaScript, with experience developing concurrent or multithreaded applications.

Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or equivalent preferred). Working knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems and general infrastructure concepts. Experience designing, developing, and consuming HTTP-based APIs, including RESTful services.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Knowledge of secure software development practices, automated testing, application monitoring, logging, and incident response. Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.

Willingness to learn and contribute across software engineering, testing, security, DevOps, and operational support functions. Experience writing comprehensive unit tests and validating solutions prior to user acceptance testing (UAT). Familiarity with AI tools, developer productivity tools, or AI-assisted software development is a plus.
