Job description

OUR FORMULA.
Chemistry is a full-service hybrid agency designed for an uncertain world. The agency builds culturally relevant brands and solves complex business challenges by merging creativity, technology, and culture. With offices in Atlanta, Pittsburgh, New York, and Miami, Chemistry's fully integrated capabilities span strategy, creative, digital, media, and multicultural content.
WHAT YOU'LL DO.
Full Stack Developers at Chemistry bring ideas to life - from interface to infrastructure.
As our next Full Stack Developer, you'll own both front-end and back-end development, building scalable, responsive, and high-performing digital experiences. You'll collaborate closely with designers, strategists, and account teams to translate vision into functional, elegant solutions.
You're just as comfortable architecting APIs as you are refining UI components. You understand that great digital work lives at the intersection of code and craft.
On any given day, you will:
  • Design, code, test, and debug web-based applications across front-end and back-end environments.
  • Implement new features and functionality across marketing and internal web applications.
  • Establish and guide website architecture, APIs, and system integrations.
  • Convert full-page designs into reusable templates and CMS-ready components.
  • Integrate and customize solutions within ASP.Net-based CMS platforms (Umbraco, Kentico, Episerver, Sitecore, etc.).
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Account teams, and Designers to define technical solutions aligned with business goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and direction on projects across internal and client teams.
  • Ensure responsive, adaptive, and performance-optimized digital experiences.

You don't just build websites. You build systems that scale.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR.
Science tells us that the most effective Full Stack Developers (and ideal candidates for this role) bring a strong mix of technical depth, adaptability, and collaborative instincts to the table:
  • The knowledge and instincts typically built through a combination of education/formal training and 3-5 years of experience in full stack web development.
  • Strong experience with ASP.Net MVC (C#) and modern JavaScript frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Fluency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and responsive web design principles.
  • Experience building and maintaining websites within enterprise CMS platforms (Umbraco, Kentico, Episerver, Sitecore, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of ASP.Net MVC back-end architecture and MSSQL database integration.
  • Experience developing responsive and adaptive digital experiences across devices.
  • Comfort using debugging tools (Chrome Inspector, Firebug, etc.).
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and positive attitude.
  • A passion for technology, innovation, and consumer-centered digital design.

You're a Superstar If You Have:
  • Experience working within an interactive, marketing, or advertising agency.
  • Photoshop knowledge and experience optimizing images for the web.

You write clean code. You solve problems creatively. And you adapt as fast as technology evolves.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and are committed to building a diverse, inclusive team. For this role, you'll need to be based in the U.S. and authorized to work here without current or future visa sponsorship.
LIVE YOUR BEST LIFE.
How can we expect you to do your best work if you're not living your best life? We can't.
Come to Chemistry and take advantage of...
  • Generous PTO, because recharging fuels creativity.
  • Comprehensive wellness benefits, because peace of mind (and body) matters!
  • Donation Matching, give back, and we'll double down.
  • Growth and Development Opportunities, keep learning, keep growing.
  • Retirement Savings, your future self will thank you.
  • Paid Parent Leave, family first, always.

BE THE CHANGE.
Studies have shown that marginalized communities such as women, LGBTQ+, and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. However you identify, please apply if this is a role that would make you excited to come to work every day. At Chemistry, we believe that diverse teams are multipliers.
What's the best that can happen?
