Once a part of Kenrick-Glennon Seminary's campus, the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, MO is today the headquarters and curia (governing body) for the Archdiocese of St. Louis.
Job Summary
The Summer Camp Aide at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School supports the supervision and care of children participating in the summer camp program. This role helps create a safe, engaging, and faith-centered environment where students can build friendships, explore new activities, and enjoy a fun and enriching summer experience rooted in Catholic values.
Job Responsibilities
  • Assist in supervising campers during daily activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play
  • Support the implementation of age-appropriate and engaging camp programs
  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized camp environment
  • Monitor camper behavior and promote positive interactions and teamwork
  • Assist with transitions between activities, including arrival and dismissal
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
  • Communicate effectively with camp staff regarding any concerns or incidents
  • Follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
  • Help with setup and cleanup of activities and materials
  • Model respectful behavior and Christian values in all interactions

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
