Job SummaryThe Summer Camp Aide at St. Raphael the Archangel Catholic School supports the supervision and care of children participating in the summer camp program. This role helps create a safe, engaging, and faith-centered environment where students can build friendships, explore new activities, and enjoy a fun and enriching summer experience rooted in Catholic values.
Job Responsibilities- Assist in supervising campers during daily activities, including games, crafts, and outdoor play
- Support the implementation of age-appropriate and engaging camp programs
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized camp environment
- Monitor camper behavior and promote positive interactions and teamwork
- Assist with transitions between activities, including arrival and dismissal
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times
- Communicate effectively with camp staff regarding any concerns or incidents
- Follow school policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Help with setup and cleanup of activities and materials
- Model respectful behavior and Christian values in all interactions
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Experience working with children preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, responsible, and attentive to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in summer conditions as needed
- Commitment to supporting a faith-based school environment
