Anesthesiologist - St. John's Hospital (Yonkers, NY)


Position Summary
Montefiore Department of Anesthesiology is seeking a dedicated and clinically skilled Anesthesiologist to provide Anesthesia services at St. John's Riverside Hospital in Yonkers, NY, at both the Andrus and the Dobbs Ferry locations. The Anesthesiologist will support a full range of services in OR and non-OR procedural areas, as well as Obstetric Anesthesia. The role includes day shift as well as both in-house call and beeper call to ensure 24/7 coverage.


Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Provide high-quality Anesthesia services for a broad spectrum of surgical specialties.
Deliver Anesthesia in non-operating room locations such as endoscopy.
Provide comprehensive Obstetric Anesthesia coverage, including labor analgesia and C-sections.
Conduct pre-op evaluations and manage intraoperative and postoperative care.
Participate in emergency airway management, rapid responses, and code team duties.
Participate in the in-house call and beeper call rotation for immediate hospital coverage.
Provider coverage solo and via anesthesia care team model. CRNA supervision of up to 3-4 rooms


Qualifications
MD or DO; completion of Anesthesia Residency.
Board Eligible/Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
NYS Medical License.
Strong communication and clinical skills; OB experience preferred.


Compensation & Benefits
Total potential compensation in excess of $700k
Base salary of $480,000-$510,000 commensurate with experience
Additional call pay up to or above $80,000 depending on volume of call taken
Sign on & retention bonuses totaling $100k
Up to $24k in productivity bonuses.
LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered.
