Job Summary
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a Pediatric Surgeon to join our team.
Highlights:
  • The successful candidate is someone interested in honing their clinical skills across the broad field of Pediatric Surgery.
  • Responsibilities will include supporting our Level One Pediatric Trauma Center, an ELSO Gold Star ECMO Program, and a busy Level 3C NICU.
  • Candidates will have the opportunity to participate in clinical program development, research, resident and medical student education, as well as our historic ACGME accredited Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery.
  • The Division of Pediatric General, Thoracic and Minimally Invasive Surgery at St. Christopher's Hospital is staffed by board-certified pediatric surgeons who have extensive experience in general and pediatric surgery. Our pediatric surgeons address the surgical needs of children of all ages, from extremely premature infants to 21 years of age, with a variety of conditions including infections, injuries, tumors, endocrine disorders, chest wall abnormalities, congenital malformations, as well as some Urologic and Head and Neck conditions.

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a 188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area and surrounding counties. With more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, St. Christopher's Hospital for Children combines topnotch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties, including Cardiology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; Oncology; and Orthopedics. It houses the only Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania. St. Christopher's is a Magnet® designated hospital and has been recognized as a Women's Choice Award Best Children's Hospital.

Overview
