Job description

Welcome to Love's! Our indirect tax team is seeking an experienced Indirect Tax Audit Analyst for an advanced-level role requiring expertise in tax compliance, research, and process improvements, serving as a key resource for audits.

Job Functions:

  • Manage tax audits, including responding to inquiries and preparing documentation.
  • Conduct in-depth reconciliations and investigate tax discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure tax accuracy in business operations.
  • Support tax system implementations and process automation initiatives.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in tax legislation, communicating updates to the team.
  • Assist in training and developing junior team members.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred.
  • 2+ years of related experience.

Skills:

  • Hard Skills: Expertise in tax compliance software (Avalara, Vertex, SRA, SAP).
  • Soft Skills: Strong project management and leadership skills. Ability to handle high level reconciliation and audit responses.

Typical Physical Demands:

  • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
