About Tessell
Founded in 2021, Tessell is a hyper-growth Database-as-a-Service (DBaaS) company offering a revolutionary data infrastructure and management platform for both cloud-born and cloud-defining enterprises. Headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a big hub in Bangalore, Tessell provides a fully managed service for both open-source and commercial data technologies such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL Server on all major clouds, including Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
Tessell has raised Series A funding from Lightspeed Venture Partners, a global venture capital firm, to fuel global expansion and focus on delivering a consumer-grade experience for an enterprise-grade service.
Tessell is building a pathbreaking technology that revolutionizes the way data is managed in the cloud. Tessell is growing quickly, and we need passionate and tenacious people to join us and work on diverse teams with a diverse range of experts.
About the Opportunity
We are looking for a dynamic graphic designer to join our team and work on a variety of creative campaigns, large and small. You should be a master of the craft, ready to take an idea and bring it to life in beautiful ways on projects such as global campaigns or the core communications of our various products.
You must be a self-starter with a can-do attitude and a designer who loves design exploration but also recognizes the realities of day-to-day work. You will manage your projects in a timely manner, work with external and internal vendors, present your work to stakeholders, and explain your design thinking.
You will work within the context of the Tessell brand, but you will be empowered to push boundaries, and explore ways to extend the brand and challenge the status quo. You will create your work with great attention to detail and craft.
Responsibilities

  • Drive work with creative partners to develop concepts and designs that can be executed across digital channels including web, email, blog, social media, and digital paid media.
  • Oversee design of weekly digital projects while ensuring assets support responsive design principles, and e-commerce best practices, and follow corporate standards related to visual style and branding guidelines.
  • Work within the Brand and Creative team which is responsible for the creative and art direction of the company, driving a unified brand identity across diverse marketing assets. You'll evolve and extend the company's identity and support and differentiate Tessell's position in the marketplace.
  • Design marketing collateral and emails that are easily replicable, and be responsible for evolving the design, look and feel of our website, including our blog.
  • Work on a wide range of projects including demand generation and product marketing assets, landing pages, infographics, guides/eBooks, social media campaigns, and other go-to-market assets that drive visibility for and interest in Tessell.
  • Work collaboratively with our events team to design event registration pages, banners, giveaways, and more.
  • Accomplish all identified digital marketing project goals for visual design, brand strategy, and user experience.
  • Stay current on industry trends and inform creative partners on digital processes, technologies, trends, and potential opportunities to accomplish a seamless customer experience.
