Senior Scrum Master

Location: Chicago, Illinois

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master / Agile Coach with a strong background in Information Security (InfoSec) and DevSecOps to lead Agile delivery within a cybersecurity-focused environment. This role partners with cross-functional teams, product owners, DevOps engineers, and security leaders to drive Agile transformation, integrate secure development practices, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives while promoting continuous improvement.

  • Coach teams on Scrum, Kanban, Agile best practices, and scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe and LeSS.

  • Collaborate with Information Security and DevSecOps teams to integrate security throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

  • Support secure CI/CD pipeline implementation, vulnerability remediation, threat modeling, and security testing initiatives.

  • Track Agile delivery metrics, manage risks and impediments, and maintain project documentation using Jira, Confluence, and related collaboration tools.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8+ years of Scrum Master or Agile Coaching experience in enterprise environments.

  • Strong experience supporting Information Security (InfoSec), Cybersecurity, or DevSecOps initiatives.
