Job description

Salary:

We are hiring Network Administrators to support the MQ-9 RPA Enterprise Centralized Network Operations Center (C-NOC) at Creech AFB.

The C-NOC provides enterprise-level monitoring, configuration, troubleshooting, and sustainment of the networks that enable MQ-9 aircraft control, ISR dissemination, and SATCOM boundary security worldwide.

This is a high-tempo, mission-driven operational environment directly supporting live flight operations.


What You Will Support

  • ACN (Transport, Combat, Training enclaves)
  • C2R boundary architecture
  • SPDN ISR video transport networks
  • Monics satellite monitoring systems
  • HAIPE encryption devices
  • SATCOM transport and boundary sites


Key Responsibilities

Network Operations (C-NOC)

  • Monitor and maintain enterprise MQ-9 network infrastructure
  • Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and boundary devices
  • Support encrypted red/black transport systems
  • Assist with mission provisioning and edge device reconfiguration

Tiered Troubleshooting Support

  • Provide Tier 13 support within the C-NOC
  • Diagnose connectivity, routing, and performance issues
  • Support SOCs, SATCOM relay sites, and ACN boundary locations
  • Escalate mission-impacting issues appropriately

Cybersecurity & Sustainment

  • Apply security patches and assist with STIG compliance
  • Conduct weekly configuration backups
  • Support RMF and vulnerability mitigation efforts
  • Maintain accurate documentation and change logs

Mission Alignment

  • Coordinate maintenance with flight schedules
  • Ensure minimal disruption to live MQ-9 operations
  • Maintain operational discipline in a 24/7 environment


Required Experience

  • 3+ years network administration experience
  • Hands-on Cisco routing and switching
  • Experience in NOC or operational enterprise support
  • Strong troubleshooting and escalation judgment


Preferred Experience

  • DoD or ISR mission support
  • Boundary/red-black architecture familiarity
  • HAIPE or encrypted network exposure
  • Experience in 24/7 operational environments


Location: Creech Air Force Base, Nevada
Work Environment: On-Site at the Centralized Network Operations Center (C-NOC)
Schedule: 24/7/365 rotating shifts
Clearance Required: Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
Certification Required: IAT Level II (Security+, CCNA-Security, CySA+, or CND) + CE as applicable
