Everforth ECS seeks a Senior Project Manager to work Hybrid remote/onsite, with a minimum of 3 business days onsite at the Fairfax, VA corporate office and/or Springfield, VA customer site. Additional on-site or travel support may be required based on mission needs.

Job Description:
Everforth ECS seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud, Infrastructure, Software, and integration of emerging technology initiatives supporting a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. The position will manage multiple concurrent technical initiatives and lines of effort and report to the Program Director responsible for the broader portfolio.
The successful candidate will operate in a multidisciplinary environment spanning Government stakeholders, engineering teams, vendors, subcontractors, and enterprise/corporate support elements, supporting several lines of effort delivering revolutionary capabilities to the US Intelligence Community and Operational Forces in CONUS and overseas. The role requires a technically sound project leader who can translate mission and technical requirements into executable plans and drive delivery across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments. The candidate is highly motivated and enthusiastic about implementing new technologies where deadlines are important to national security.
The Senior Project Manager will be accountable for project cost, schedule, performance, scope, risk, dependencies, and customer outcomes while adapting to changing mission priorities and delivery timelines important to national security.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Lead multiple concurrent technical projects and lines of effort supporting AI, cloud, infrastructure, software, data, and emerging technological capabilities.
  • Translate Government objectives and technical requirements into executable project plans, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, schedules, and measurable deliverables.
  • Manage cost, schedule, performance/deliverables, scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and decision points; proactively identify blockers and drive cross functional teams toward resolution.
  • Collaborate daily with Government customers, technical leads, subject matter experts, vendors, partners, and subcontractors to adjust priorities and deliver mission requirements.
  • Coordinate deployment and sustainment of infrastructure across cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and multiple classification level environments in accordance with Government guidance and direction.
  • Ensure assigned activities comply with applicable authorization, security, engineering, and operational processes; coordinate with appropriate Change Control Board representatives, Cybersecurity, and security stakeholders.
  • Maintain integrated schedules, action items, risk/issue registers or logs, dependencies, and project health metrics; provide accurate assessments and recommended corrective actions and associated timelines.
  • Prepare and deliver project status reports and brief Government Program Managers, Senior Leadership, and Everforth ECS leadership on schedule, cost, technical risks, dependencies, decisions, and recommended courses of action.
  • Interface with contracts, procurement, logistics, HR, finance, security, and other support functions to execute program activities.
  • Prepare Statements of Work (SOWs), support project kick-off activities, lead recurring status meetings, and ensure successful delivery of contract line items and other contractual deliverables.
  • Support proposal planning, technical solution development, research, and responses to emerging customer challenges and requests.
  • Provide collaborative leadership across matrixed teams and coordinate required skills and resources to complete project tasks.

Required Skills:
  • Must be a US Citizen as required by contract.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret security clearance and be eligible and willing to obtain SCI access and a CI polygraph, as required by the customer.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or an equivalent combination of education and directly relevant experience, subject to contractual labor category requirements.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsible project/program management experience supporting complex technical programs.
  • Demonstrated experience managing technical projects or programs for DoD and/or Intelligence Community customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent technical lines of effort with competing priorities, dependencies, schedules, resources, and stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of cloud, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure environments and the ability to effectively coordinate engineering teams and communicate technical risks, dependencies, and requirements.
  • Experience managing costs, schedule, performance, scope, risk, issues, and project dependencies.
  • Experience with SDLC, Agile delivery/management, and project lifecycle management.
  • Experience with project and information management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, GitLab, Confluence, or comparable platforms.
  • Demonstrated experience briefing Government customers and senior leadership on project status, technical risks, schedule cost, dependencies, and recommended courses of action.
  • Strong problem solving, written and verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel occasionally CONUS and OCONUS in support of project activities.
