EIS Holding, LLC, is one of the largest providers of turnkey environmental services in the country, providing soil and groundwater remediation, asbestos and lead abatement, demolition, mold remediation, and air duct cleaning.

Are you ready to lead high-impact environmental projects while mentoring the next generation of scientists and geologists? EIS is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Downstream team in Colorado, combining technical expertise in site assessment and remediation with strong project and personnel leadership.

In this role, you'll oversee a portfolio of environmental projects from assessment through remediation and monitoring, serve as the final technical review authority on reports and budgets, and build lasting relationships with clients and regulatory partners including CDLE-OPS and CDPHE. You'll also guide a team of project managers and junior staff, fostering the kind of collaborative environment where careers grow.

Position Description – Senior Project Manager – Environmental Consulting Business Group/Dept: Downstream FLSA: Exempt Reports To: Managing Director Date: May 29, 2025 Purpose of the Position

This role will combine assessment and remedial technical expertise with project management and personnel management skills, providing you with an opportunity to lead projects and collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals. Will complete final reviews of all technical reports, budgets, and scopes, with an attention to detail and knowledge of regulatory requirements. Will manage team of project managers and will communicate with clients and the regulatory agencies (Colorado Department of Labor and Employment – Division of Oil and Public Safety [CDLE-OPS] and Colorado Department of Public Health and the Environment [CDPHE]).

Essential Position Responsibilities
  • Be the senior manager on a portfolio of environmental projects. Supervise and mentor project managers and junior staff and maintain client relationships.
  • Oversee site assessments, remediation design and implementation, and ongoing monitoring.
  • Ensure projects and clients maintain compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
  • Review and analyze environmental data and complete final review of technical reports and budgets.
  • Stay educated on changing regulations within the industry.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, and other key stakeholders. Communicate project progress, risks, and resolutions effectively.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior scientists, geologists, and project staff. Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes career development.
  • Prepare proposals and estimates.
  • Support miscellaneous projects, including Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessments and Brownfields redevelopment projects.
