The salary offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Salary Range:
$85,100.00 - $140,900.00
Purpose Statement: Provide leadership for the creation and successful execution of product and program transfers and low complexity new product introductions (NPI) across Plexus manufacturing sites and Plexus market sectors. Lead the program of work and associated projects by working with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs).
Key Job Accountabilities:
  • Independently lead projects that involve the transfer of PCBAs, test fixtures and or systems, excess material and or the material supply chain into a Plexus Manufacturing facility. Transition projects will involve any of the Plexus market sectors.
  • Create and lead the project timeline to transfer existing products and processes from the current manufacturer or customer facility to a Plexus manufacturing facility. Project scope may include a new design release to manufacturing.
  • Manage the existing relationships across all Plexus and customer work streams.
  • Lead the overall project by ensuring project success factors are clearly communicated to the project team and guide the project team through completion and execution of all project tasks. Anticipate and take advantage of potential risks and opportunities.
  • Own the project schedule and facilitate the appropriate meetings and review activities to ensure actions are completed on time. Set up appropriate governance and report out on key project health metrics. Review, monitor, and control the project execution to ensure key success factors are being accomplished.

Education/Experience Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree with 4 or more years of related experience is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Formal project management training is desired (pursuing training is preferred)
  • CLSSGB - Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred

Other Qualifications:
  • High computer skills and literacy
  • Experience with project scheduling software (i.e. MS Project) is preferred
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communications skills
  • Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Computer, presentation and mentoring skills are necessary to be successful in this position
  • A general knowledge of manufacturing, materials, business, finance and program management is required; related contract manufacturing experience is preferred
  • Basic problem solving skills
  • General office equipment and materials
