Job description

Mastech Digital provides digital and mainstream technology staff as well as Digital Transformation Services for all American Corporations. We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager for our client in the Retail domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Contract position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Location: Irving, TX (Remote)

Salary: $50.00-$55.00/Hourly

Primary Skills: Program Management

Role Description: The Senior Project Manager must have 2-6+ years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own end-to-end delivery of MarTech personalization and web initiatives, scope, integrated plans, schedules, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communication from intake through launch.

- Build and maintain integrated roadmaps and delivery plans across the MarTech work streams (RMN, CRM & Campaigns, Personalization & Web, and Foundation), sequencing work and managing cross-team dependencies.

- Translate the current and future-state assessments and prioritized pain points into milestone-based delivery plans with clear owners, timelines, and success criteria.

- Establish and run a clear intake and prioritization process for web and personalization requests, balancing demand against team capacity.

- Drive cross-functional coordination across products, engineering, data/EDP, architecture, QA, and external partner teams that own shared platform, content, and data services.

- Run Agile delivery cadences within a POD-based model, sprint and PI planning, backlog refinement, standups, and reviews, partnering with engineering managers.

- Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions (RAID); remove blockers and escalate early with recommended options.

- Coordinate build-vs-buy and vendor/SOW workstreams, and track staffing (FTE and contractor), budget, and resourcing against plan.

- Provide leadership-ready status, roadmap, and metrics reporting, and prepare decision memos that drive cross-team and leadership alignment.

- Standardize project-management practices, templates, and governance across MarTech to improve predictability and transparency.

Basic Qualifications:

- PMP certification (Project Management Institute) required.

- 7+ years of project or program management experience delivering technical, software, or marketing-technology programs.

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional delivery across product, engineering, and data teams on concurrent, interdependent initiatives.

- Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum delivery as well as hybrid and waterfall approaches, and with delivery tooling (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, MS Project).

- Proven track record of dependency, risk, and stakeholder management on complex, multi-team programs.

- Strong executive communication and status reporting, with the ability to make plans and trade-offs clear to both technical and business audiences.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or any IT related field.
