We are equipment agnostic, and our solutions incorporate leading technologies such as mobile robots, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), automated guided vehicles (AGV), goods-to-person technology, sortation, and conveyor. Senior Project Engineer to deliver reliable material handling solutions that exceed customer expectations.

  • Own and execute mechanical engineering scope of assigned material handling projects.
  • Mentor team members through the project process and deliverables.
  • Lead efforts to ensure engineering team complies with standards for system design, mechanical engineering, drafting, installation, and equipment safety.
  • Regularly report on project portfolio performance including but not limited to: on-time delivery, budget, quality, risks.
  • Own short-term monthly forecast across assigned projects regardless of resource reporting.
  • Develop project execution best practices. Recommend changes and improvements where appropriate.
  • Serve as a resource for coworkers to elevate product issues if normal channels have stalled.
  • Dedication to continuous learning of the application of new material handling technologies.
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.
  • At least 5 years of experience analyzing, designing, and implementing automated material handling solutions. Knowledge of CAD design software including AutoCAD.
  • Must have a strong customer focus and be able to effectively and quickly build relationships that fosters trust, respect, and confidence, while coordinating with cross-functional engineering teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience with ASRS, sortation, or conveyor-related systems.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Travel up to 25% in this position.
