Role Summary

The Senior Program Manager - Ultrasound Probes will lead complex, cross-functional programs across the global Probes organization. This role spans the full Probes portfolio and will work closely with Probes segment leaders, who serve as Product Managers, to translate business and portfolio priorities into disciplined execution.

The Senior Program Manager will drive strategic and operational initiatives across R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, QARA, Manufacturing, Service, and Regions. Key areas of focus include complex NPI programs, Hoshin Kanri deployment, operating rhythm improvements, and embedding the HeartBeat operating principle into NPIs and other cross-functional programs.

This role requires a strong operational leader who can bring structure to complexity, align diverse stakeholders, manage multiple workstreams and swimlanes, and drive execution with rigor and transparency.

Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Execution
  • Lead complex, cross-functional programs across the Ultrasound Probes organization, including NPIs, portfolio priorities, operational initiatives, and strategic deployment activities.
  • Translate business priorities into clear program plans with defined scope, milestones, owners, deliverables, risks, and decision points.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and swimlanes, ensuring strong execution discipline, timely escalation, and clear accountability.
  • Establish and maintain program governance, dashboards, operating rhythms, and leadership review mechanisms.
Partnership with Segment Leaders / Product Managers
  • Work closely with Probes segment leaders / Product Managers to align program execution with portfolio strategy, customer needs, product roadmaps, and business priorities.
  • Support prioritization, trade-off discussions, resource alignment, and decision-making across segments and functions.
  • Ensure product and segment priorities are translated into executable plans across R&D, Supply Chain, QARA, Manufacturing, Service, and Regions.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a key integrator across R&D, Product Management, Supply Chain, QARA, Manufacturing, Service, Finance, and regional teams.
  • Facilitate alignment across global stakeholders, ensuring objectives, risks, dependencies, and decisions are clearly understood.
  • Influence without direct authority in a global matrix environment.
Hoshin Kanri, HeartBeat & Operating Rhythm
  • Support deployment of Hoshin Kanri priorities across the Probes organization by translating strategic objectives into measurable action plans and governance routines.
  • Embed the HeartBeat operating principle into NPI and cross-functional program execution.
  • Drive standard work, disciplined operating mechanisms, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement across program teams.
Risk Management & Compliance
  • Identify program risks, interdependencies, resource constraints, and execution barriers.
  • Lead mitigation planning, escalation, and countermeasure execution.
  • Ensure programs are executed in alignment with applicable quality, regulatory, and product development requirements in a medical device environment.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Provide concise, data-driven updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Develop program dashboards, milestone reviews, risk summaries, and decision documents.
  • Communicate complex issues clearly, including options, trade-offs, recommendations, and required decisions.
Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Business, Operations, or related discipline.
  • Significant experience in program management, project management, operations, product development, or business execution in a medical device, healthcare technology, life sciences, or similarly regulated industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex, cross-functional, multi-site programs with multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
  • Strong operational skillset, including program governance, milestone management, risk management, escalation, prioritization, and execution tracking.
  • Experience working across functions such as R&D, Product Management, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Service, Finance, and Commercial/Regional teams.
  • Excellent communication and executive presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence without direct authority in a global matrix organization.
Desired Characteristics
  • Advanced degree such as MBA, MSc, or equivalent experience.
  • Program management certification or training such as PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, or equivalent.

  • This role requires significant experience in the Engineering/Technology & Program Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience in Product Management)
