The Senior Production Planner manages complex planning activities for high-impact product lines, constrained resources, and critical customer programs. This role serves as a subject matter expert for planning processes, resolves complex scheduling issues, mentors less experienced planners, and partners with cross-functional leaders to improve delivery, inventory, and production performance.
This is an onsite role in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The Senior Production Planner reports to the Planning Manager.
This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Own planning and scheduling for complex, high-priority, or high-mix product lines with significant customer, inventory, or capacity impact.
  • Analyze demand trends, capacity constraints, material risks, production performance, and inventory positions to develop realistic and executable production plans. Lead resolution of complex shortages, schedule disruptions, customer escalations, engineering changes, quality holds, and capacity conflicts.
  • Partner with operations, supply chain, procurement, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance to align production plans with business priorities.
  • Develop and maintain planning metrics such as schedule adherence, on-time delivery, past-due orders, inventory turns, aging work orders, and shortage trends.
  • Mentor Production Planner I and II team members by sharing system knowledge, planning best practices, and problem-solving approaches. Identify and lead process improvements that improve planning accuracy, production flow, material readiness, and customer delivery performance.

The essential requirements of the job include:
  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing production planning role; OR a high school diploma or equivalent and five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing production planning role.
  • Advanced ERP/MRP knowledge, SAP & Kinaxis, strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • The ability to influence cross-functional decisions.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office and manufacturing support environment with prolonged computer use, data analysis, report preparation, and participation in production or escalation meetings.
  • Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and move regularly between office areas, production work centers, warehouse locations, and conference rooms.
  • May occasionally lift or carry light materials, binders, reports, or production documentation up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to visually review schedules, system data, production status, and inventory information, and communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% subject to business requirements.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean, or Six Sigma training.
  • Production planning in the aerospace industry
