Raytheon is seeking a Senior Manager, Material Program Manager, to lead a growing team of Supplier Execution and Delivery Management (SEDM) Material Program Managers (MPM).

What You Will Do
  • Improve non-supportive material and complete kit delivery to meet factory need dates
  • Manage on-time delivery (OTD) metrics to deploy a team of supplier-facing Material Program Managers to identify risks/issues and deploy mitigation strategies to avoid negative impact to factory performance
  • Collaborate closely with factory, cross functional counterparts of every level and suppliers to improve RTX OTD
  • Prepare and present executive communications to address program challenges and the supplier recovery plans and actions
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers
  • Identify constraints and lead mitigation and improvement plans to enhance supplier delivery performance
  • Lead or co-lead weekly supplier status meetings and quarterly business reviews (QBRs)
  • Interface with and influence all levels of internal management
  • Contribute to and execute the Material Program Strategy (MPS) and the Material Program Plan (MPP) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance
  • Develop strong knowledge of supplier operations and the product lifecycle
  • Implement and drive proactive risk mitigation measures for events such as supplier acquisitions, relocations, or restructuring
  • Identify and remove barriers impacting on-time delivery and material flow
  • Drive completion of tasks such as line-of-balance (LOB) reviews, factory need date gap analysis, material coverage, tracking, and sub-tier support
  • Communicate effectively across multiple levels of leadership within Raytheon and the supply base
  • Manage multiple projects and coordinate with numerous functions concurrently
  • Lead and support process improvement efforts through CORE initiatives
  • Gather feedback and identify new improvement opportunities
  • Lead and influence cross functional teams to achieve successful outcomes
  • Recommend and lead course correction efforts with supply base
  • Travel domestically up to 50%
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
  • Experience leading supply chain, operations, program management, or cross functional projects
  • Experience leading projects from planning thru to execution
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Experience as a people manager; supervisor, lead, etc.
  • Experience with Six Sigma/CORE tools or other relevant applications
  • Experience leading teams in cost reduction/process improvement initiatives

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidateโ€™s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the companyโ€™s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
