Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Infrastructure Project Manager in Newport Beach, CA.
Overview:
As a Senior Technical Infrastructure Project Manager in Infrastructure and Operations Tower, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex infrastructure technology initiatives with a primary focus on End User Services (EUS) and Information Security and Operations, with secondary support for Network and working knowledge of Cloud and Compute initiatives. You will be embedded within the I&O Tower - one of the largest portfolios in Technology - supporting infrastructure modernization, identity and access management, endpoint/user services, resiliency, service transition, and operational readiness outcomes aligned to enterprise technology priorities.
This role requires more than traditional project coordination. We are looking for a consultative, technically fluent infrastructure PM who can facilitate technical working sessions, understand architecture and operational dependencies at a working level, ask probing and technically informed questions of engineers and architects, challenge assumptions, identify delivery gaps, and translate technical complexity into clear, executive-ready updates.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Technical Infrastructure Delivery:
* Lead delivery of complex, cross-functional infrastructure projects across End User Services and Information Security and Operations, with secondary support for Network and Cloud/Compute dependencies
* Drive infrastructure modernization programs including Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) 2.0, EUS Global Expansion, User Access Management Automation, ITAM Optimization and Maturity, Service Design and Transition, Global DR Assessment, and broader DR/BC resilience initiatives
REQUIREMENTS:
* PMP, ITIL v4, and/or Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent)
* CISSP, CISM, or Security+ certification - demonstrating security domain fluency for InfoSec & Ops project delivery
* Experience with DR/BC program design and execution - particularly transitioning organizations from legacy DR models to modern, cloud-enabled, application-tiered resilience strategies
* Prior experience managing ITIL Service Design and Transition implementations at an enterprise scale
* Experience with Identity Governance platforms (SailPoint, Delinea, Okta, Microsoft Entra) - particularly cloud migration of identity stacks
* Prior experience in financial services or insurance industries, with an understanding of regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements
* Experience with AI-driven automation and shift-left methodologies applied to infrastructure operations (e.g., AI-driven ticket reduction, intelligent monitoring, IVR AI)
* Lean Portfolio Management (LPM)
* Experience with global infrastructure operating model transitions or M&A-driven technology integrations (e.g., consolidating services across parent/subsidiary entities)
Additional Information for Suppliers:
Must-have candidate profile:
* Enterprise infrastructure project delivery experience, with hands-on exposure to End User Services, Information Security and Operations, identity/access management, endpoint security, disaster recovery/business continuity, or IT service management
* Ability to work directly with engineers, architects, operations teams, cybersecurity teams, vendors, and senior stakeholders to manage scope, dependencies, risks, decisions, readiness, cutover, and operational handoff
* Consultative delivery style - more than a task-tracking PM; This person should bring technical curiosity, delivery discipline, issue ownership, and the ability to identify gaps others may miss
