Job description

Position Summary... What you'll do...Role summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated, seller-facing operator to join our Seller Partner Onboarding team and help scale Walmart’s Local Marketplace. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a critical role in onboarding and launching sellers, ensuring they are set up for long-term success on our platform.    This role owns onboarding across a range of seller segments—from SMB sellers to multi-location and Mid-Market (MM) sellers (10+ locations). You will operate as a primary point of contact for sellers, independently managing onboarding engagements while partnering with cross-functional teams to drive successful launches and scalable outcomes.
About the team:
Our team leads the development and growth of Walmart’s Local Marketplace onboarding engine, supporting a range of local businesses from SMBs to Mid-Market brands. Positioned at the intersection of operations, product, and marketplace strategy, we collaborate with Business Development, Go-to-Market, Compliance, and Seller Success teams. We design and implement systems, processes, and playbooks to streamline onboarding across seller segments. Expanding into new categories such as alcohol and global grocery, we balance speed with accuracy in a dynamic environment, delivering measurable business results while impacting both daily operations and long-term strategy.
What you'll do:
• Managing end-to-end onboarding for sellers across SMB, multi-location, and Mid-Market (MM) segments, with increasing ownership of complexity over time.  • Acting as the primary point of contact for sellers, guiding them through onboarding requirements, timelines, and platform enablement.  • Leading onboarding engagements independently, ensuring sellers are successfully launched with minimal manager intervention.  • Partnering with business owners and stakeholders (Ops Managers, Directors, and occasionally executives) to align on onboarding readiness and success criteria.  • Building and managing structured onboarding plans, tracking milestones, dependencies, and progress to ensure on-time launches.  • Identifying opportunities to standardize SOPs and contribute to playbooks while identifying risks & bottlenecks
What you'll bring:
• Building strong relationships with sellers through proactive communication and guidance.  • Translating complex onboarding requirements into simple, actionable steps for sellers.  • Ensuring a high-quality seller experience throughout onboarding and launch.  • Managing onboarding pipeline across multiple sellers simultaneously, tracking timelines and risks.  • Maintaining accurate updates in CRM and operational systems.  • Driving accountability to ensure sellers launch on time.  • Partnering with Business Development, GTM, Account Management, Product, and Compliance teams.  • Coordinating across stakeholders to unblock issues and ensure launch readiness.  • Identifying opportunities to improve onboarding workflows and tools.  • Contributing to SOPs, playbooks, and enablement resources.  • Sharing insights to inform program improvements.  At Walmart, we offer competitive pay as well as performance-based bonus awards and other great benefits for a happier mind, body, and wallet. Health benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage. Financial benefits include 401(k), stock purchase and company-paid life insurance. Paid time off benefits include PTO (including sick leave), parental leave, family care leave, bereavement, jury duty, and voting. Other benefits include short-term and long-term disability, company discounts, Military Leave Pay, adoption and surrogacy expense reimbursement, and more. You will also receive PTO and/or PPTO that can be used for vacation, sick leave, holidays, or other purposes. The amount you receive depends on your job classification and length of employment. It will meet or exceed the requirements of paid sick leave laws, where applicable. For information about PTO, see https://one.walmart.com/notices.
