Job Summary:
Cognizant is seeking a highly motivated Senior Full Stack .NET Developer with Azure/Angular to support a project involving the full software development lifecycle. The role requires collaboration with stakeholders to optimize compute architectures and ensure high availability, while integrating security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand workload requirements, performance expectations, and scalability needs.
• Domain knowledge with Loan/Lending Design compute architectures that optimize resource utilization, minimize latency, and enhance overall system performance.
• Consider factors such as virtual machines (VMs), containers, serverless computing, and batch processing.
• Determine the appropriate compute resources (VM sizes, instance types, etc.) based on workload characteristics.
• Balance cost-effectiveness with performance requirements. Implement auto-scaling strategies to handle varying workloads.
• Be capable of designing for High availability and fault tolerance.
• Optimize parallel processing, GPU utilization, and distributed computing.
• Ensure efficient data movement and synchronization. Be capable of designed transactional compute patterns with compensation patterns
• Explore serverless computing options (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, etc.) for event-driven workloads.
• Design event-driven workflows that respond dynamically to triggers. Leverage Azure Event Grid and Azure Event Hubs.
• Integrate security best practices into compute designs. Implement access controls, encryption, and network segmentation.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Define monitoring metrics for compute resources.
• Set up alerts, logging, and diagnostics. Troubleshoot performance bottlenecks and optimize resource utilization.
• Design compute workloads utilizing networking components and micro segmentation Familiarity with IAM, Azure Policy and Private Link configuration
• Provide a long-term vision for the platform, considering changes in technology within the context of ITS current implementation and our feature roadmap.
• In depth understanding of the business environment, its processes and complexities of the organization and apply the knowledge towards the proposed work program.
• Design and validate solutions that are practical, flexible, resilient, scalable, reusable, and strategic.
• Promote component-based development, emphasizing reusability and consistency.
• Recognize and identify potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed, especially regarding future business expansion.
• Present, discuss, and walk through the merits of the solutions recommendations with a group of enterprise architects.
• Institute and lead the adoption of best practices and standards, to improve the quality of the deliverables.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 10+ years of experience and strong hands-on in .NET development areas like Web API, Microservices with docker based container development
• Experience in hosting apps and managing the infrastructure both in on-premises and Azure cloud with DevOps knowledge to setup Build or release pipeline and managing the code repository
• Security concepts like V-net, sub-net and private endpoint
• Expert-level expertise on front end development
• Hands-on experience, in-depth knowledge of programming in the Microsoft .NET Core framework
• Experience with ADO.Net, Entity Data model, Entity Framework 4.0+
• Azure Cloud - FunctionApp, Web Jobs, Storage Account, Key Vault, App Insights, Cognitive Service, Service Bus, Azure AD/Registration, Azure BOT Service, Azure Open AI, Data Factory with hands-on experience in implementing Azure Active Directory authentication
• Primary skills: Angular 9+, HTML5, CSS 3, Bootstrap/Material, JavaScript, DOM, TypeScript, JS / TS (Advanced), Micro Front End, Common Component Development/Design System, Angular Elements, Reactive Forms, RXJS and library development expertise
• App Security, Performance optimization
• External Plugins – Charts & Data Grids, Exporting to Excel/PDF, Rich Text Editors
