Job description

Join Eaton as a Senior Controls Engineer in Nacogdoches, TX and play a key role in advancing manufacturing performance through innovative control system design and automation solutions. Working across engineering, operations, and maintenance teams, you will help deliver reliable, efficient, and compliant production systems. Relocation assistance is available!
The expected annual salary range for this role is $97000 - $143000 a year.
Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
  • Prepare capital expenditure requests, have frequent interaction with upper management and outside suppliers and agencies, including regulatory personnel. Lean manufacturing experience
  • Coordinate projects with people at all levels, departments, and facilities within the organization.
  • Perform work with little or no direct supervision.
  • Independently design and develop projects to support overall company objectives.
  • Perform additional job duties based on business needs including wastewater and environmental responsibilites

Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering
  • 3+ years of test/controls engineering experience
  • 3+ years of experience in many computer programing software such as visual basic/studio, SQL, and other Microsoft applications.
  • 3+ years of experience with PLC, HMI programming and safety systems design

Preferred Qualifications:
  • High voltage testing experience
  • 5+ years of test/controls engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience in many computer programing software such as visual basic/studio, SQL, and other Microsoft applications.
  • 5+ years of experience with PLC, HMI programming and safety systems design

• Experience with Capital justification from inception through implementation.
