NextThink Automation Engineer
Location: Spring, Texas (Onsite)
Role Overview
We are seeking a senior NextThink Automation Engineer to support Digital Employee Experience (DEX) initiatives. This role focuses on development and automation, emphasizing strong skills in PowerShell, NextThink Query Language (NQL), and using Power BI to build dashboards. The position involves developing and maintaining NextThink solutions, Remote Actions, and automation workflows to improve endpoint performance across the enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain NextThink solutions supporting Digital Employee Experience initiatives.
  • Build and support Remote Actions (RA), automation workflows, campaigns, and remediation processes.
  • Develop advanced PowerShell scripts for endpoint diagnostics and automated remediation.
  • Use NextThink Query Language (NQL) to create custom queries, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Analyze endpoint telemetry data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities.
  • Design and implement NextThink Flow automations and integrations.
  • Collaborate with IT Operations, Infrastructure, Security, and Workplace Services teams.
  • Develop Power BI dashboards and executive reporting solutions.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint performance, device health, application reliability, and user experience issues.
  • Create proactive monitoring and remediation strategies.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 5-8+ years of experience in endpoint engineering, automation, or digital workplace technologies.
Technical Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with NextThink administration and engineering.
  • Strong experience developing Remote Actions, NextThink Flow workflows, NQL queries, and custom dashboards.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for infrastructure and automation tools.
  • Experience with REST APIs and system integrations.
  • Data analysis capabilities, including building dashboards with Power BI.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows endpoint environments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Power BI dashboard development.
  • Experience with Microsoft Intune and Microsoft 365 environments.
