Job description

Role Overview:
The client is seeking a Senior Automation Tester with over 7 years of experience in test automation, manual/functional testing, and robust communication, reporting, and documentation skills. This role involves working within the hospitality domain, focusing on revenue, pricing, and reservation workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute automation test cases, manual/functional tests, and end-to-end workflows.
  • Create comprehensive test scenarios, test scripts, and test data for complex business processes.
  • Develop and maintain automation tests utilizing JUnit 5, Mockito for dependency mocking, @WebMvcTest for Spring MVC controller testing, and @MockBean for Spring context-based tests.
  • Perform various types of testing including API, UI, integration, and regression testing.
  • Identify, log, and drive defects to closure in collaboration with developers.
  • Prepare detailed test documentation, such as test plans, test reports, and traceability matrices.
  • Collaborate closely with business teams in the hospitality domain to validate critical revenue, pricing, and reservation workflows.
  • Provide accurate status reporting and communication to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure strict adherence to QA standards and best practices throughout the testing lifecycle.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in QA/testing, encompassing both automation and manual/functional testing.
