We have created an extraordinary 200-plus native apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android handsets and tablets; our web and app developers and designers lead some of the industry's most experienced mobile teams. And our focus on mobile has only made our web offerings stronger, giving us a natural strength in hybrid app development, responsive website design, and cross-platform approaches.
Job Description
Fuzz Productions seeks a Senior Android Developer to join our ongoing quest to create the most epic, innovative mobile solutions around.
We're looking for experienced Android developers with proven chops building Android apps and work experience with multi-developer projects. In this role at Fuzz, you would be leading project teams. You will be a keystakeholder in the process and ideation of projects. You will also help contribute to our internal codebase and expand on it.
Our ideal candidate will have the ability to jump between projects and contribute to the overall success of long term partners.
Qualifications
BS/BA in Computer Science or a related field, or demonstrate a solid foundation in software development
At least/approximately 2 plus years of solid experience in the field
Ability to communicate clearly and keep us informed of your progress
Adherence to schedules and deadlines
Very good understanding of Java and Android lifecycle, garbage collection, and design patterns
Demonstrable portfolio of Android apps you have worked on
Experience targeting multiple Android devices (handset and tablet) from multiple manufacturers and across all OS versions
Experience with HTTP and REST web services
Experience debugging an Android app, including but not limited to: DDMS, Traceview, and Draw9 debugging
