Back Office Certified Dental Assistant

Job Description

Assist dentists with back office clinical procedures efficiently and safely.
Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure.
Take dental X-rays following safety protocols with X-ray certification.
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to uphold hygiene standards.
Document patient information, treatment plans, and procedures accurately in dental software.
Communicate clearly and courteously with patients regarding procedures and oral care instructions.
Support dental team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Manage dental supplies inventory and order materials as needed.
Maintain compliance with all health and safety regulations within the dental practice.

Salary Range

Full-time $18 - $23 per hour

Shift & Schedule

Monday through Thursday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Friday: 9 AM – 6 PM
Saturday: 9 AM – 4 PM
Sunday: Closed

Requirements
  • Registered dental assistant / Certified dental assistant
  • X-ray / Radiography Certification

Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential (Required).
Valid X-Ray Certification (Required).
Proven experience as a Back Office Dental Assistant in a dental office setting.
Strong skills in dental X-ray and clinical support.
Medical administrative support experience preferred.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (Bilingual required).
Ability to interact professionally and calmly with patients and team members.
Passionate about delivering compassionate and quality oral health care.

Preferences

Prior experience working in a private dental office.
Familiarity with dental office software and patient management systems.
