Job description

Vision IT is seeking a Data Analyst to support the 59th Medical Wing's Psychological Research Service (PRS) and its Biographical Evaluation and Screening of Trainees (BEST) program. This position provides data, database, application, and IT support for systems used to process and manage trainee screening and evaluation information.ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize BEST/BAS databases and applications.Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, reports, data extracts, charts, and graphs.Configure and support Scantron Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) systems and processes used to score the Lackland Behavioral Questionnaire (LBQ).Support software/hardware upgrades, system configurations, testing, deployments, and new modules.Maintain data integrity, security, availability, backups, and recovery procedures.Develop and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, user guides, and system configuration documentation.Provide user training and technical consultation to PRS/BAS personnel.Collaborate with government stakeholders and vendors to implement system enhancements and process improvements.Ensure compliance with applicable DoD, Air Force, cybersecurity, information assurance, and data-protection requirements.Provide required BEST/BAS reports and technical deliverables to government representatives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or related field, or equivalent experience.Experience with SQL, databases, data analysis, and reporting.Experience supporting applications, hardware, and information systems.Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to develop technical documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users.Experience with DoD/Air Force environments, Scantron/OMR systems, or behavioral/medical research systems is preferred.Ability to obtain and maintain required DoD installation access and security credentials.Why Vision IT?At Vision IT, we lead with People First, ensuring our employees and customers thrive.
