Job Overview: Pay Range $56.75hr - $61.75hr Requirement/Must Have: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years combined experience in database administration for SQL Server and Oracle platforms. Responsibilities: Perform Database (SQL Server, Oracle, GIS) planning and operational activities. Conduct daily operational and database administration activities. Plan, design, implement, and support database structures. Conduct database performance monitoring and tuning. Develop and maintain database administration procedures and documentation. Perform SQL Code reviews. Assist with training/mentoring other technical staff. Support database activities for application enhancements and rewrites. Nice to Have: Experience with Azure SQL. Experience with AWS SQL tools. Experience with managing ArcGIS for Server. Experience with GIS and spatial databases. Skills: Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of relational database management systems. Ability to work independently in the technical analysis, evaluation and resolution of large Enterprise database production issues. Knowledge of Relational Database Management principles, design and practices. Knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques of ESRI SDE Geodatabases. Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments. Skill in accurately estimating time requirements for database analysis and administration tasks. Skill in customer service. Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Data Analysts. Ability to prepare complex database specifications. Ability to design relational databases.
