BI/DW Modeler/ Architect - EAD or GC or USC ONLY

Top Three Skills: 1. 8+ years of experience in data modeling/architecture for BI purposes. (Ideally Oracle)
2. Strong SQL/Oracle development (for BI purposes)
3. Must have extensive experience working in Business Intelligence/Analytical data warehousing environments.
Job Description: This position is a Sr. BI SQL Developer in the Business Intelligence team at Fresenius Medical Care. This person will specifically be focusing on data modelling.
This person will be primarily focused on the back-end development for reporting (PL/SQL or T-SQL depending on the project). They will be responsible for the design and extraction of data for the BI team. This person will be interacting with data modelers and architects, so much be able to read data models and influence whether it will work for the reporting environment. 80% of the work will be PL/SQL or T-SQL development, 20% analysis/design and influence of data modeling. It would be a plus if someone can write reports as well, but the focus is primarily in understanding structures, and extracting data for reports.
There is a separate Data Architecture team, but they do not have the bandwidth to support the BI team for their data modeling needs. Therefore, the BI team has taken on more responsibility for data modeling and architecture, building of ETL to move environments for reporting. They do not have a dedicated resource with a strong background in this. Therefore, they are looking to bring in someone with strong data modeling experience, dimensional models, understands what it means to pull large amounts of data for reporting purposes.
Project will be a mix of new development and enhancing current projects that are running.
** It is very important this person still does development. 1/2 time will be data modeling/architecture and 1/2 time will be hands on SQL or PL/SQL development**
