Job description

Position/REQ ID: MS SQL DBA
Type (Contract, C2H): 4+ Mo Contract
Location: Raleigh, NC (ON SITE) North Hills office
MUST HAVES:
4+ years of MS SQL DBA experience
Experience with Cloud (AWS or Azure)
Performance tuning
Good with backup and recovery
PLUSSES:
Ability to work in a team environment
Good with DB management
Ability to work in a SaaS environment
Experience interacting with different teams (devops, operations, engineering, etc.)
DAY-TO-DAY
This person will be working with two other DBAs and a variety of IT teams/members of the operational staff to help with issues on the front line. Looking for someone who can be collaborative and accessible. Daily responsibilities will be working on SQL servers in the cloud and windows servers on backup, restoration/recovery, manipulation of databases and moving them around in the environments, as well as making recommendations to other teams on how to classify specific issues and providing feedback to the operations and development teams. This role may require after hours support one-two times per quarter.
