Role Overview
The Oracle Developer is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Oracle database applications, PL/SQL programs, and reporting solutions. This role requires technical expertise and communication skills to collaborate with business users, project managers, architects, QA teams, and production support teams.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects, including PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, tables, views, indexes, and materialized views.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Perform performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and resolve production issues.
  • Create technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and deployment plans.
  • Support application releases, code promotions, and change management activities.
  • Ensure compliance with security, audit, and data governance standards.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders.
