Job description

Job Role: PL-SQL Lead/Senior Developer

Location: Rosemont, IL   

Employment Type: Long term contract / Full Time

Experience: 10 – 14 Years   

WMS/ Manufacturing or Logistic domain experience is required

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior PL-SQL Developer with extensive experience in Oracle PL/SQL, MS SQL Server, and Reporting Services like SSRS or other equivalent reporting tools to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines, database objects, and reports supporting enterprise-scale data platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance tuning, database development, and reporting implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain database objects (tables, views, materialized views, procedures, functions, packages, and triggers).
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes for data transformation and integration.
  • Analyze and optimize database performance using indexes, query plans, and SQL hints.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical solutions and ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Provide L2 support and root-cause analysis for production issues; execute ad-hoc queries for business teams.
  • Support change requests and bug fixes through SDLC processes.
  • Lead a track of small offshore team members with similar skills
