My Client is headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut and has over 1,200 employees in its offices in the USA, Switzerland, Canada, Hong Kong, UK, Australia, Hungary, Russia, Japan, India, China and Estonia. My Client is regulated by the SEC, FINRA, NYSE, FCA and other regulatory agencies around the world.

Job Description

 1.    Typical projects will be focused on web server, middle-ware and back-end development and integration.

2.    The majority of development will be using Java with some exposure to PL/SQL and Python.

3.    Projects can also include support of Oracle database schemas, PL/SQL packages, scheduled batch processing, Java applications and servers.  

4.    A successful candidate must be highly analytical and adept at solving complex problems.

Qualifications

 1.    Master's degree preferred or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics

2.    Strong knowledge of Object Oriented programming, Java, PL/SQL, Database design and SQL

3.    1-3 years of experience as a Java application developer

4.    1-3 years of experience with PL/SQL

5.    Good knowledge of Python

6.    Knowledge of UNIX/Linux

7.    Knowledge of XML, JSON, CSS and HTML

8.    Functional knowledge or experience with REST Web Services a plus

9.    Functional Knowledge or experience with Vert.x, VueJS a plus.

10.  Problem solver, attention to details, fast learner
