PSI is seeking an AMOC Senior Database Administrator III to provide full-time, on-site support to the CBP Air and Marine Operations Center. This role is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing database environments that support C4I systems, AMOSS, ISR platforms, and associated mission applications, ensuring data availability, integrity, security, and performance in alignment with operational requirements. * Administer, maintain, and optimize database systems supporting AMOSS, ISR, and C4I environments.

Monitor database performance and implement tuning and optimization strategies. Ensure data integrity, availability, and security across all database platforms Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades. Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in mission-critical environments. Manage database access controls and ensure compliance with security requirements. * Support integration of databases with applications, systems, and data sources.

Collaborate with engineering and development teams to support system enhancements and data requirements. Develop and maintain database documentation, procedures, and standards. * Support data migration, replication, and synchronization efforts.

Ability to travel and deploy to operational locations as required. Job Requirements Desired experiences : Experience supporting maintenance and sustainment of C4I, AMOSS, or ISR systems in operational environments. * Experience troubleshooting complex system issues across hardware, software, and network components.

Experience working with mission equipment, maintenance tools, and COTS systems. Experience using diagnostic and test equipment to identify and resolve system faults. * Demonstrated understanding of operational requirements and ability to apply technical procedures in mission environments.

10+ years experience. Administering enterprise-level database systems in operational environments. * Performing database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting.

Managing backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes. Supporting database security, access controls, and compliance requirements. * Integrating databases with applications and system architectures.

Working within DoD, DHS, or similar Federal environments. Desired education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; experience may substitute. * Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Database management systems (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL or similar). Database monitoring and performance tuning tools. * Backup and recovery tools.

Scripting languages (SQL, PowerShell, or similar). Collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint. Security Clearance: Secret Location: Riverside, CA.

  • Travel is required to support mission operations, system maintenance, and engineering activities across CBP operational locations. Personnel will deploy to sites including CAMOC in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, and other CONUS and OCONUS locations to perform installation, troubleshooting, integration, and sustainment of C4I, AMOSS, ISR, and telecommunications systems. Travel may be scheduled or occur on short notice in response to mission priorities or system outages.

Duration may range from short-term temporary duty to extended support periods based on operational needs. All travel will be Government-directed and reimbursed in accordance with applicable Federal Travel Regulations and contract provisions.
