Job description

PL/SQL Application Developer III - 100% Remote 

Looking for US CITIZEN 

Job Description:

Perform PL/SQL development for medium to large projects for applications that support PPL Solutions' business, primarily supporting preparation of new systems for account growth. This includes both batch and online systems. Perform the full ragne of project software activities (discover requirements, design/assess software packages, develop, deploy and document). Assess and correct performance issues with SQL & PL/SQL.
Callouts:
- Role is remote with potential need for travel to quarterly meetings
- Candidates in EST or PST only
- Need strong understanding of Oracle, PL/SQL, and design principals
Requirements:
4 year college degree in technical field or at least 8 years of relevant experience requried.
Self motivated, customer focused and a team player - must have proven problem solving skills along with strong written and verbal communcation and interpersona skills.
Strong skills in Oracle database technologies 9i, 10g, 11g.
At least 5 years of PL/SQL experience including creating/modifying tables, packages, stored procedures, triggers, indexes, etc.
Experience with assessing SQL and PL/SQL performance including use of explain plans and TKPROF.
Experience with Unix/Linux preferred.
